 Firstly you must understand what exactly is a scam. Well according to the Cambridge English dictionary a scam is 'an illegal plan for making money.' So now I will discuss if Internet Network Marketing is an illegal plan for making money or simply a legitimate way for you to achieve financial freedom.
Is Network Marketing legal? The answer to that question is yes. If it was illegal there would be a lot of people in trouble by now! When people think of network marketing programs they tend to think of a Pyramid Scheme straight away. Traditional Pyramid Schemes are now illegal as their set up only allowed the highest people in the company to make the money while all other people coming in didn't really have a chance.
These type of Pyramid Schemes are what gave network marketing a bad name in the past and are the reason why a lot of people seem very wary of programs on the internet these days. Fortunately a lot has changed since then and there are now many legitimate ways to earn a very decent living
in Network Marketing if you choose the correct program.
Multilevel Marketing is the answer to this. Multilevel marketing (commonly known as MLM) allows you to leverage your time and money in order to earn a residual income which grows steadily over time as your team expands.
This type of set up is completely legitimate as it enables its members to create success and financial freedom over a period of time.An example of such a program would be where you have to give your first sale to your sponsor. This in turn creates a way for you to leverage your efforts as every time someone joins you in your program, you too will receive their first sale and this will happen to infinity.
Following on from that, the main reason why some people may have fears regarding whether or not Network Marketing is a scam is probably got to do with the tax liability of the program. If the program falls under the guide lines of a "Gifting" program then you have to beware. In some states you do not have to pay income tax for gifting where in others you will.
The laws differ greatly across all states and countries so be sure to check exactly what the laws are in regards to this in your area. Always pay your taxes otherwise you are definitely meddling in illegal activity.
Here is how you can make Internet Network Marketing work for you to ensure it is a legitimate home business for you and your team members.
- Firstly, remember that this is not a get rich quick scheme. This is a real business and will take a certain level of commitment, time and work. If you can not dedicate yourself completely to this then there is absolutely no point.
Persistent, consistent action over a period of time is the only way you will see results. Always be wary of programs that promise to make you rich over night. It just isn't going to happen I'm afraid. You will have to work hard to create financial freedom online with any program but it is definitely possible.
- Make sure you are in the right frame of mind for success. Mindset is a highly important aspect of success in Network Marketing. It comes down to being able to utilize the Law of Attraction in everything you do.
-Always do your research on any program you are thinking of joining especially if it is brand new. Check out the people who have set the program up by seeing if they have a good reputation online.
Try to get an unbiased testimonials from people or just Google their name. Always remember to go with your intuition or gut instinct on something. This will always guide you in the right direction.
In conclusion, Internet Network Marketing is a legitimate home business opportunity but remember it may or may not be the business for you. It is a great business to get into at the moment as it is completely recession proof. Just be sure to join one that you feel the masses could afford and you should be fine.
There are so many opportunities out there and I believe there is a place for everyone to succeed. The Universe is an abundant place and there is enough abundance to go around for everyone. You just have to be open to receiving.
